Description The Church Wellesley Village is one of Canada's most vibrant communities. In 1826, Alexander Wood, a pioneering gay magistrate & merchant, bought the land our community now sits on. Being a molly, as gay men were known then, the locals came to call the area Molly Wood's Bush.
The shops, restaurants, bars, and other businesses of the Village are known for their friendly, helpful, and entertaining atmosphere.
The home of many exciting events including Pride Week, the Church Street Fetish Fair and Halloween. |
